Stelle's Main Street Antiques opened August 1992. Marty and carolyn Stelle purchased the original "Fickerts" Furniture Store and transformed it into an Antique Shop.

On Stelle's main floor we have seven original dealers. We also have an upper and lower mezzanine, plus a full basement with consignment furniture, kitchen ware, vintage clothing, quilts, sewing notions and collectables.

  • Nadine and Bill, our care group, deal in collectable, primitive and antique knifes. Bill is a published author on Marbles and Knifes.
  • Carl deals in Asian and American Indian objects as early as 1600.
  • Bob deals in Victorian Glass and Art.
  • Dalares and Richard deal in Victorian primitive and fine jewelry. Dalares also is involved in promotion of the Chico Search & Rescue Antique Show.
  • Sherri & Jeff deal mostly in pottery, Raseville, Bauer, Nerll, and small collectables. Sherri also does excellent pottery repair.
  • Elizabeth deals in antiques, collectable and fine collectable jewelry.
  • Marty and Carolyn deal in vintage clothing and accesories, and small collectables. Marty's main interest is antique relic long guns.

Changing somewhat through the years the building has always housed retail businesses. The Fickert family owned the building from 1863 to 1968 when the Kemps took over ownership. In 1985 it became the Shoe Palace.
